Being guilty as one of those who want to know if there is in fact any money making opportunity with Microsoft or Bing, I decided to write this short post about it.

You can see this term almost all over the place. The dark lords of Twitter are using this caption to lure users to click on their Tweets only to find out that it could be anything, but actually making money with Bing. Why? Simple. It is more than natural that people will be intrigued by it, as Bing has been very much on the main stage the past couple of weeks. Coupled with their recent deal with Yahoo, such curiosity grows even bigger. What will come out of this deal, I am not yet sure, and all I can say at this moment is that MicroHoo is now on my watch list.

So, for the part about the money hype with Bing. As of yesterday and correct me if I am wrong, there is no such thing as Bing Affiliate Program or BingSense or whatever else you want to call it. I myself am guilty on spending reasonable time searching for such programs. Well, tough luck, there isn’t any (at least yet).

Now if you are a business owner or an internet marketer, there are two things that you can do to take advantage of all this curiosity.

1) Advertise. Bing.com also has a PPC advertisement program, very similar to that of Google Adwords. You can advertise there and get a head start on some of your competitors. Opening an account will cost you 5$ but you can use this for any future campaign.

2) If you are a site owner looking for ways to earn money with Bing, you can join the Microsoft publisher program and display relevant ads on your site. This program I think is similar to Google AdSense, but unfortunately registration is presently open for US participants at this time. It is still in beta, but if you are from the US and interested in applying for the program, you can do it at the Microsoft pubCenter Beta Program.

There you go. As far as I am aware of, making money with Bing is still not quite there yet. If you know of ways to make money with Bing, please do share them here with us.

  • I know the power an potential of PPC and its pitfall. I used google adword for 10 days and spend $200 but got no sales for my affiliate product.
    I should evaluate other PPC program like Bing.com etc

  • Google is a poor company especially at PPC and other things they do. I ran identical campaigns on google and bing and ran it for a month, guess what!

    Google game me 90% more clicks and was 90% more expensive, though the traffic they sent was SHOCKING, nothing ever converted to sales. Bing was much better. Google is a big fraud.
