weekly echo

Here we are again on yet another weekly roundup. Time has been running so fast that I can still vividly remember the first Echo. Anyway, here are the most noteworthy articles that I have found this week and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. I have been running so late on posting echo on Saturday’s, that I might as well call it Sunday Smash, like ExtremeJohn does:)

In no particular order:

Friday Flick Find: 100 Viral Videos In 4 Minutes – A compilation of 100 viral videos, up for show in just…. 4 minutes!

Do-It-Yourself SEO Using Microsoft’s Bing Toolkit – A guest post by Holly Jahangiri on Dave’s website in a weekend blog. A good example of “don’t just read and learn”, but rather, taking action.

Share your Ondoy Story to help the Nation Heal – You all have heard about the recent calamities up on the Far East, right. Rey’s posts is an example that if you care, you can make a difference.

10 Things I’ve learned as a Blogging Newbie – Ms. Freeman has started to blog recently and already has some very important blogging tips to share.

Blog Engage, Our First Official Year End Contest 2009 – Brian, owner of BlogEngage organizes an awesome contest, where fabulous prizes are going to be given away. Plus, you get the chance to join a great community of bloggers.

33 super engagers to follow – Gautam, finally reveals his secret list of super Tweeple to follow.

google udi manber

Google’s Udi Manber: Search Is About People, Not Just Data – Rob Hof of Businessweek interviews, Udi Manber, Google’s vice-president of technology for core search.

The Top 5 Make Money Sites You Should Visit – Blake Waddill. The man responsible for almost getting my blog sold:)

Free Antivirus From Microsoft: Security Essentials – In case you missed it, Microsoft, who lately has been giving away a lot of free stuff, now gives another product for free.

BTW, and before I forget, this is another format I’m testing for my weekly echoes. You’ve seen the standard text links on Echo #1, and last week, I used images of the author’s on Echo #3. What do you think of this one?
