If there is something I usually pay attention to, when it comes to SEO, are information that comes from Rand of SEOmoz. SEOmoz is a trusted name on SEO and they know what they are talking about, have no doubt about it.

It is an extremely important topic, where Rand explains on this video, how “Trust” and “Authority” is calculated, and issues like reverse trust, inbound and outbound link patterns, registration history, temporal link patterns, and other aspects that can and will affect your domain’s trust metrics and its ability to both rank and pass value.
